Organiser: The Federal Association of the Heating, Air Conditioning, Sanitation Technology and Building Services Systems Industry (BHKS) in cooperation with Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH
Date: 17. + 18.3.2011
Location: Hall 9.2, Room Dialog
Systems for integrating building services technology are becoming increasingly extensive and more sophisticated. Interaction between individual systems and trades is gaining in significance and becoming more and more crucial for increasing the energy efficiency of systems as a whole.
In its lecture series, the Federal German Association of the Heating, Air Conditioning, Sanitation Technology and Building Services Systems Industry (BHKS) will make clear that a holistic view of building services and installation technology is absolutely necessary to achieve the highest levels of energy efficiency. Only when there is an integrated approach, which includes proper professional planning, the choice of efficient products and technologies, their installation by competent, qualified installation engineers and, in the end, long-term, responsible operation by people who understand the issues, can optimum efficiency be achieved in terms of performance output and energy used. The use of energy efficient products on its own, without appropriate professional planning and proper installation in the building by trained and qualified tradespeople, cannot guarantee high levels of efficiency in the system as a whole.
BHKS's lecture series at ISH 2011 will be offered over two days: on the Thursday and Friday of the show. In each case, the lectures will deal with a practical example from the planning, building and operating phases. Following the lectures, there will be an opportunity to discuss technical issues with the well-known speakers.
The lectures are offered free of charge.
